VASGBI - Annual Scientific Meetings

The society holds extremely popular annual scientific meetings with invited speakers and a free paper session. They are held at a different location each year.
The 2008 meeting is to be held on September 8th/9th at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, Norfolk.

As in previous years, basic overnight rooms will be available for a low price in student accommodation.
Norwich is easy to reach by road (A47 from the North, A11 from the South), rail (with up to half-hourly rail services from London), and by air. Norwich International Airport is about 5 miles from the UEA and Flybe offer regular low priced scheduled flights from Amsterdam, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Manchester.
Norwich is a vibrant city with lots of local attractions and a lively nightlife. A list of restaurants recommended by the 2008 co-ordinator is available here.
